Digital imaging

Digital imaging of original specimens collected from Singapore

2017 – 2023 (Completed)

The main goal of this project is to make Singapore’s animal specimen data available in digital format, allowing the updates of specimen catalogues within collections. Besides publishing the digitised data (see Digital catalogue of type specimens), we also develop standardised workflows for digitising type specimens using material collected from Singapore held within the Zoological Reference Collection (ZRC) as an exemplar.
